Founded in 1931, Harpenden Common Golf Club is a traditional, friendly members’ club situated in one of Hertfordshire’s most outstanding natural beauty spots.
Golf has been played on Harpenden Common for more than 120 years, and the club has developed into a haven for golfers of all ages and abilities. The result is a unique Golf Club where traditional barriers have been overcome. We welcome you to come along and join us to see what makes us special.
A Welcoming Club
Harpenden Common Golf Club has a vibrant membership made up of Men’s, Ladies, Juniors, Mixed and Senior sections who offer a full schedule of competitions, team fixtures, roll-ups and events aimed at golfers of all standards. We also run several friendly events and offer an extensive social calendar for the non-golfer.

The Ideal Venue
Whatever the occasion, the clubhouse at Harpenden Common is available for private hire. The clubhouse’s dramatic position overlooking the entire 18th hole, providing spectacular and uninterrupted views of the green, makes it a unique setting to host any event, including weddings, dinners, birthdays, christenings, wakes and Christmas parties.
